Great Start What did you guys think of the Season Premiere of Lost Season 5? There's a whole lot of time travel going down. This forum has tons of interesting theories: Lost Theories
I think that theory about them being some years back makes a lot of sense, especially since Ben kept saying how they had to bring back Locke, because he wouldn't be dead in the island's time, I guess? And what was up with those Fire Arrows? And did anyone else recognize that lady that Ben talked to? She's the weird lady that wanted to sell Desmond the ring. She was weird for some other reason though...can't exactly remember what she did.
Fire Arrows I don't know what was up with the fire arrows. For a second I thought that they had jumped back in time quite a bit, and that it was some type of primitive civilization, maybe the same one that erected the giant four toed statue. As for that grey haired woman at the end of the episode, that is Mrs. Hawking. From what I can gather she is some sort of "time cop" making sure that destiny is followed and no one does anything to break the path. She is the store clerk when Desmond goes to buy Penny's engagement ring. When he says that he will buy it she seems very pissed. She explains to Desmond that he will not marry Penny because he is supposed to end up on the Island. In addition to seemingly helping the Oceanic 6 get back to the island she also shows up in a photo with the head monk while Desmond is at the monastery: Weird
Yeah, that is weird. I completely forgot about that statue too. One time, I bought this magazine, and they had a map of the Island, and it showed all the hatches (well, at least the ones that had been discovered then, 3rd season, I think). It's pretty cool. Helped me a couple of times when I got confused.
I know, I know, lol, I was just imitating him. ''Volevookoosheavebouasensua?'' ''No Undestand'' ''Do you speak english?'' ''Little''
^most likely Ben. I'm assuming that's who she wants to shoot anyway. We'll see who really ends up getting it, though. What I want to know is how Ben knows that Jin is alive and how he can prove it. Ah, gotcha. lol
Who's the bad guy? So who do you think is the bad guy? Is it Ben: or is it Widmore: They both have potential for some evil creepiness. At this point I am leaning toward Charles Widmore being the true villain, mainly because it's a little less obvious. Plus Widmore was working with Matthew Abaddon who always struck me as evil. Admittedly though, Ben has committed more atrocities including strangling Locke.
Even though the wife and I were expecting Ben to kill Locke, it was still a great moment when Ben strangled him to death. Up until he walked in on John (I'll note here that so far all of the folks that have tried to kill themselves have been stopped in some way), I had no inkling that Locke's suicide was really a murder. Awesome episode. As for who the bad guy is, I'm not sure. At this moment, I believe they both have nefarious intentions. But it seems a bit predictable at this point to just pin it all on Ben. It reminds me of Constantine, where the main character lies, cheats, steals, and disregards life in an attempt to do a greater "good". Ben may just fall into this category.
I wasn't expecting it at all! I was shocked and appalled! WTF BENJAMIN LINUS! But what was the point of killing him if he was about to kill himself? Why is Eloise Hawking so important all the sudden? Anyone also watch (ocassionally) Fringe? Abbadon is one of the main characters in it, he's Olivia's boss. I kinda stopped watching it though, felt like I was obligating myself to watch the show instead of watching it of pleasure, which should've been happening. I'm guessing the next some episodes are going to be about how Hurley, Sayid, Kate, and Ben managed to get on the Plane. And why on that one scene 2 weeks ago did been have blood on his face? Could it just have been from the meat place, or was it someone else's blood?
Idiot, Lost's co-creator JJ Abrams is also co-created by JJ Abrams. And learn how to fully spell out words.
Ben and Locke both landed on the seperate island from the main island. They "can't" return apparently from what ben says, much earlier in the series. However, there they both are, back by the island, near it. But can they actually return to the main island? AND, why did Hurley and the others dissappear in the flash, but nobody else did? Also, remember when the flashes were occuring and Juliet was talking to Sawyer on the boat and they began getting shot at? Those were the same boats that the new plane crash victims found on the island they landed on with ben and locke.
