Right now I am roughly 40% done with my asymmetrical map. I am looking for some good initial feedback from anyone who feels like they are knowedgeable about what makes a map play very well, and from people who consider themselves good forgers; or at the very least good at feedback with the aim of improving an existing something. I am trying to make a competitive map for primarily slayer and strongholds. The map has a lot of unique geometry and I have a very large fondness for 'trick jumps' of all sorts and ways to improve map flow by way of parkour. My map has some cool elements to it, and I am starting to like it more and more; but if I had someone (or a couple people) look at it and just give me some general feedback I feel like the map could have a much better end-result. Right now I have several areas pretty well developed, I just need some help fleshing out where my main line of sight blockers will be, and what areas I need to convert into 'rooms / tunnels' and what areas I need to leave more open like they are now. Im too 'swiss cheesy' at this stage. My gamertag is iQ ii urza Post on this thread your gamertag and what time you are usually on and hopefully we can set up a time where you can assess my progress! Thanks!
Awesome! Tomorrow night I have work until 1:20 AM CST (11:20 PM PST). If not tomorrow night hopefully sometime soon we can meet online.
Hey I'll add you. I haven't touched Halo 5 forge yet, but I forged quite a bit in 3, Reach and 4. I can give you some professionally amateur advice on map design, flow, spawns, etc. GT: TIcky IV
