Sorry to ask this, I searched around and couldn't find it at all anymore. Awhile ago I saw a link to an article on multiplayer map design written by one of the people who worked on Quake, it went into detail about elevation and flow and how it's important to have that. Now I'm writing a paper on level design for one of my classes and this article would help me immensely but I can't find it. I've tried searching on google and these forums with no luck. So I decided to ask you guys since I found the article on this site originally. If any of you know the one I'm talking about and could point me in the right direction I would be very thankful. Any other coverage and insight on map design that I could cite for my paper would also be very helpful. --- Haha, nevermind, I'm dumb. Overlooked it in the important threads and former stickies thread. Sorry for wasting your time everyone.
I know the one, I remember it was a coloured member that brought it here. Will be on the lookout. EDIT: Here is the quake thread. http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-...e-level-design-guide-quake-3-perspective.html I also came across this thread which may be of interest to you too. http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-3-forge-discussion/45539-nastys-tips-good-map-design.html
