The wall restricts the teams from going over to the other side, except for the 3 Two-way teleporters at the opposite end of the map from the bases. I've seen this design way too many times, but I like the concept of using the teleporters to navigate through the "Long Run". The design you used that I said I've seen way too many times would be the idea of splitting Foundry into two sides. Maybe at least put some windowpanes somewhere into the wall so that players can return fire without having to take a "Long Run" but I guess that would defeat the purpose your map. Good post though.
Yes, unfortunately, there are alot of maps with the wall down the center, but the Foundry map itself lends to this occurance. I didn't copy anyone though, I actually made this the first day Foundry was available, but I didn't know about Forge Hub until just recently.
Well done on your excellently laid out post. That is the kind of layout and forum behaviour from your response to constructive criticism that will get the older members commenting on and trying out your map. From the screens, your map looks well put together and won't negatively affect the gameplay. It doesn't look like it was technically very difficult to forge, but that's beside the point. If I had to criticise, I would question whether the teleporters can be camped.. I assume they're on the same channel and so random, but half a team could probably camp them all effectively.. although I suppose that adds to the defence of each base. Yes, there is the danger of camping. As well as blocking the teleporters. I'd really like to get some feedback so I can iron out the teleporters. I think that its a good feature, but like you said, there are problems. Thanks for your constructive criticism thus far, and I look forward to more in the future.
