I suck at image editing and general manipulatoring, so this is a request. Would anyone be willing to make me a team logo for my 2v2 tournament team? Or, if anyone's feeling generous, would a logo shop of some kind be in order? True it would only be for the duration of the tournament, but it would mean the general quality of logo could increase, everyone would have one regardless of graphical ability, and how cool would it be to say that you made the logo of the team who won? As for my request: I'd like a 3d looking basic model, a planet with the words "Team Slayer" (yes that's our team name, taken I'm afraid, I went ahead and invented the term "Team Slayer") orbiting around it. Think along the lines of the Daily Planet logo from Superman, but with the words one above the other instead of side by side so it can be read from a sharper angle. I want it simple black and white as well, nice, bold and simple, with large block lettering. I'd like a large and a small one, 150px by 150px approx, and 300px by 300px approx. Anyone who's willing to do this well would receive my undying love, + rep, and an honourable mention in my inevitable victory speech. I think the creator of a logo shop would get love all around.
Yeah I only use photo editing software. Creating 3D shapes and such isn't soemthing I can really do. Dont know if you were looking for something this close to the superman thing but heres what I came up with:
Cheers Mallet, those will do very nicely. I'm playing around with some 3d modelling softwares and I might come up with something, but I'll likely use these, thanks dude.
Hey Pegasi, could i give it a go? I was gonna create a solid black silhouette logo with white text. Maybe even put some blood splatter on the word "slayer".
Yeh Lynx, I'd love if you had a go, more options to choose from can't be a bad thing. I like the black and white idea, its what I was originally thinking of. Go easy on the blood splatter if you do use it though, I want it to be really simple with clean, straight lines (excluding the curve of the planet obviously, I just don't want too many wiggly lines in there, simplicity is the key)
Heres my attempt. I also used photo editing software to make it so It took me alot longer than it probably should have.
That looks real nice TD, more true to my original idea, favourite so far definitely. It does look like it took a while as well, but photo editing in general is pretty impressive to me, I just can't get a grip on it.
