whats the point of feedback when you don't listen to honest to goodness criticism. Sure its a good lockout remake but the aesthetics are out of place. I know everything was put there for a reason but basically I agree with others, good map, but you could clean it up a little, the middle area is an eyesore.
When people say "sloppy", they're not referring to where you placed the objects or the structure of the map. It's more like this. Having many different patterns on surfaces tends to be distracting for players.
That is because this map is set for Race. You must play this map in Slayer, not forge. [br][/br]Edited by merge: I listen to everyone's criticism but It was almost impossible for me to clean up the middle because if you notice I have only 5$ worth of budget left. And either way I have play tested my map and have had others play it and they all agree that this map doesn't lag as much as most maps. This was my goal the entire time of making this map: creating a Lockout with most jumps, with decent aesthetics with the top of the map included, and with very little framerate issues.
Aesthetics They're right dude you should rework the look, but not by adding more thing. Instead delete some of the floors you have made and replace them with more symmetrical piecies that fit and try less phasing. This is an accurate remake yes but trust there is another that is both accurate and aesthetically pleasing. I got faith you'll figure it out just make a copy of the map and play around with replacing pieces.
I have updated this post with new versions. I also updated the description which may explain why i feel this Lockout is different from others.
