Well, after a long break from posting here I'm back, and I have a new drawing for you guys. As usual, i am self taught and this was all done by pencil. This is Linda, she looks better on paper... (My scanner has a hard time with picking up light shades.) She has a more "anime" feel to her, Ie the eyes and lips. (i will probably post how i usually draw eyes later) Please, tell me what you think. ~DJ Majaro
Needs moar cleavage. I have the same problem with my scanner, it can't pick up light shades. The only comment I have is that she needs more facial features like depressions near the eyes and a more defined nose. Unless your scanner didn't pick those up? Otherwise, nice drawing!
well, She does have some shading underneath her eyes but like you predicted, the scanner did not pick it up. Also, i forgot to mention that the shading is much, much smoother on paper. (i shaded then took my brick eraser and lightly glided it on the shaded parts, this keeps the tone but evens out the shade.) She also has freckles and if you look at her hair closely, you may be able to make out where her hair shines. PS. REALLY!? But she does have more, but you cant tell becuase the view is too high up.
Don't ever, ever ask what we think. Ask for criticism. You'll get a nicer comment from me, if not anyone else. Are you SURE you want to STAY self taught? No offense, but it looks like you need a few lessons.
well then, i guess ill have to post a picture of my pug... keep an eye on the graphic arts section, i should have the pug up in the next 30 minutes. --- well then, i guess ill have to post a picture of my pug... keep an eye on the graphic arts section, i should have the pug up in the next 5 minutes.
I see this pictures. Her neck had been laid down right side. So I want to say that You will have to set the neck of the girl. Other All the creation are still good and also epic. I hope that You will do so in this art as well.
Pencil drawing is an art and you have developed that art here in a very good manner. But still you need to improve your work i think so anywhere's it's a good drawing.Keep it up.
