I really don't like the use of buildings and other pieces that you used. The pieces look very random, like they shouldn't be there. The name of the map could be a little better. You used a mother load of glass which could cause framerate lag. I really am bashing this map, I'm sorry
I dont care what the guy above me says.. the way you used the tower talls in the 3rd picture is very interesting, and actually makes me want to use them in a similar way. and i like how you used the triple room building, and the catwalk around the top, but i do think that the ramps leading up to the catwalk need to be rethought
Yeah, lots of people hate pre-fab buildings. I like them. Personally, I'm so sick of 2x4 blocks that I just can't build with them any more. The objects look less random when you're in-game. The perspective from above in the screenshots gives a poor impression. The name, however, is epic. It's a Skyrim dungeon. The Gravity Hammer in the cave is a reference to the unique weapon The Longhammer. Frame rate hasn't been an issue. I'm glad you like it. The towers filled a nice little design hole for me there, replacing a cluster of pillars. I think they work well, providing light cover but making CQC evasion more difficult. Any suggestions to improve the ramp? I was just aiming to keep it a nice simple run up with a jump possible to shorten the trip.
Damn..Smackdown is going to be tougher than I thought. Still I really think the buildings look kinda sloppy. i.e 3rd picture, it's just two buildings put together. Anway the colour wall lighting is cool and I maybe would of added a second orange light to spice up the grass area. That means removing the green light. Also the name is abit, well let me use one word. Meh.
I'm building a 1v1 map called Genesis in the same area! It's nice to see another take on the same space. This looks interesting to play.
