I don't get how CoD 4 became so popular, but it is an okay game, but not great like Halo 3. Seriously, I played this game and everything is the same and is still terrible. The death animation and camera is horrible, the weapons are just like every other modern day game, the "you get to call in an air-strike" is totally over the top. Since when does a single person that is just a normal soldier get to call down an air strike when he gets a certain number of kills? I think it totally ruins the gameplay. It would be like if someone got a killing frenzy on Halo 3 and they got to call down an attack of 5 hornets or an elite gets a whole scarab to come down and destroy everyone. This game does not deserve the ratings it got from the people who played it. CoD 4 is meant for the people who were bad at Halo 2 (and 3) and wanted an easy game
They are both great games Camera is horrible? for spectating? because you can go in first person mode in that. It's called Modern for a reason, do you think they are gonna make up new weapons for a game based on reality? The kill streak abilities is a great idea, and it's easy to avoid air strikes and heli's. CoD4 and easy game? I beg to differ. I find getting kills in halo more easy, considering you run and gun much more in halo. Not to mention you have a shield, near perfect acurracy, reticules, motion sensors and vehicles.
i think that its over rated some ppl are adicted to it but in the end u get ur rank up and then never play it again so y bother
idk what your talking about. i wish more people played CoD4. i wouldnt play halo as much if more people did. campaign is awesome! (unlike halo 3's) and matchmaking is fine. it doesnt matter when you play against higher lvl guys. the mp5 and m16 are 2 of the best weapons. the only weapon that can really be considered a power weapon in the p90, which i see maybe once every 10 games. i love halo and all, but i think CoD4 is just as good if not better
