    Launch
    Launch is the latest project that has been undertaken by Forgers Unite. So we have worked on this for little over 5 hours. The map is aimed towards presision infantry combat. The only vehicle on the map is a neutral shade turret (Not seen in the swat Gametype). We came up with the idea for this map because we have not seen any real maps built using the spire area of forgeworld.

    We are still in the testing stages for this map, and we are currently looking for testers.

    Looks interesting, looks like alot of things were added mostly for aesthetics which could go good or bad which is why I'm guessing your looking for testers at the moment. I like the use of the inclines it seems you were able to use them very nicely and they seem to fit the theme, but is the large structure meant to be a shuttle or ship of some kind? Also how many players are you looking for it to support?

    I see that you added a preview of this map. The thing I loved about making this map is that we actually took the way the land was into consideration and used the small bits of land around the pillar for the map as well. I see that you edited the map a bit by adding the tower, it looks interesting just wondering what side it is one, is it on the front. Don't forget that before we test this we have to add spawns and some spawn zones. Can't wait until we finish this.

    I'm a HUGE theme person, meaning that I love maps that have a theme to them. I like the rocket that you placed here, and I'm assuming that it is a launch site? I'll be sure to check this out when it gets released!

    Hopefully there are more weapons on the map than the ones you listed. If not, you'll want to add presicion weapons and grenades at least.

    Instead of light I would make use of object colors, since they can cause framerate and look bad. Watch out for that tower too, as it could help in inducing screenlag.

    In some areas, it looks like you have unnecassary cover, which adds to the high object density. For example, the braces you have under the small inclines. Also, the bunkers that are in each base are short and provide very little, if any, cover.

    I can't say for sure, but the idea of a central shade turret won't work. They turn extremely slow and are very susceptable to grenades making the risk not worth the reward.

    Overall the map looks nice though. The aesthetics are nice and the forging is very clean.

    EDIT: 4v4? This looks more like a 2v2. In addition to the cover thing, make sure you don't have base to base LoS. I'd be happy to test this with you guys some time if you'd like.

    There are too many rocks and too much cover. The lifts next to the walkway covers should be deleted since they don't work very well and can hang you up if you are jumping from initial spawn.

    You should expand the map and make more open areas.

    Spawn killing is a problem. You should try rearranging the respawn points.
