Lattice is a near-symmetrical map supporting all gametypes sans Invasion.

This is my first real next-gen Halo map; I have been creating maps for the PC version of Halo: Custom Edition since late 2005. It started out as a remake of one of my favorite Custom Edition maps, "Grove", but I only got as far as Red base before I realized Grove was too large to complete and remain totally faithful, and so the project was abandoned.

For a while, it was to be made into an Infection map named "Castle Bridge", but that quickly developed into an almost-symmetrical space that supported near-all gametypes. The name changed then, too, "Lattice" due to the structure of the bridges from above.

I designed this map with team gameplay in mind, a deviation from my normal preference for FFA. Each team is given a Falcon to assault the enemy base with and a Rocket Warthog to discourage air assaults.
Each team is also given a sniper tower and a sniper rifle to pick off any opposing infantry, although be wary of the fusion coils located within the tower itself.

Shotguns are located near the medkits in both bases to allow for close-range combat.

Each team has a mini-base to the right of their own base. Inside this base is a grenade launcher to deter enemy vehicles and a teleporter/man cannon to a base located at the map's midsection. Inside this middle base is a Needler, and, if you dare, one can traverse a narrow path to grab the rockets from the exact center of the bottom of the map.

Above the rockets is the map's hallmark, a center structure containing the energy sword.

Special Note: For Infection, the humans get a defensive turret that does not appear in any other gametype.

This map played quite nicely in a CTF game between my friends and I, but if anyone finds any bugs I didn't catch, be sure to inform me either through this thread, Xbox Live, or IM (Xfire username: englishmobster; Steam username: a_pie).
As it is my first "real" map in Reach, I am always open to suggestions or constructive criticism.
    Thanks for reading!
