    Map: Sandbox

    Gametype: Shadow Lurkers

    Recommended players: Any will work, but try to play with 8-16

    Description: Sitting in the center of the dark, chilling map is a small deteriorating base. You and your teammates must work together to hold off the "Shadow Lurkers" for ten minutes. They are quick (not 300% speed though) but easy to kill. Most humans will spawn in the main base, one may be assigned in the lookout tower, and up to 3 players may spawn in a lonely ruined building on the maps dark outskirts where the Shadow Lurkers emerge. All areas that the humans spawn have weapons. There is limited ammo and the base is hard to protect, so teamwork is essential to stay alive. Overall, game play is very basic and I find that people who normally don't like infection enjoy it.

    the center base looks good but the rest is empty and a little to bright for what you have made maybe use an effect to make it darker so its harder to see the infcted since they are easy to kill.

    its really meant to be dark along the outskirts, not in the middle.

    i think what abandoned heretic means is: is it dark enough not to see the zombies in the dark areas? (if that makes sense) if it is to bright in the darker areas of the map people could to easily take out the zombies and the game will be long and boring.
    now on to my review. the forging looks quite good on the main base, but everything else is a little blah. also, the gametype seems to simple: zombies run at you and you shoot them. if there is more to it you should mention that. i would give this a 3/5 because the gametype is a little unoriginal and the map is a little plain.

    How bout everybody download and try it out before they make statements that require knowledge of how it plays?

    1.) it is to dark to see into the outskirts.
    2.) everything is supposts to look run down and falling apart.
    3.) the gametype is a little plain, but you do have to survive ten minutes. you are also recommended to play with a large amount of players.
    4.) Most players that have ACTUALLY TRIED IT enjoyed it. so i suggest you try it dont post at all, no offense.

    Looks awesome. Are those all of your bases shown in the screenshots? If they are, you may consider adding on. I agree with heretic to an extent. Consider putting a black and white effect on it. 4/5- put more screenshots. Don't lecture me JIF. I'm not your little #4$#@.

    Finally, a decent looking base defense infection map.

    I like the main base. It seems defendable with teamwork, but not impenetrable. I like the integration of the higher walkways with the lower areas; it gives the defenders options. However, as there are no shots of the interior, I can only hope there is not an abundance of machine gun turrets inside. Also, I am hesitant about the tower inside the base: it seems too defendable. I will test this hypothesis out, as I plan to DL. It seems you have some funds left..perhaps you could perfect the base design and aesthetics. It looks great, but it can always be better.

    Weapons and ammunition make or break an infection map. I don't see a description of the weaponry, which is fine, but I hope you know what you're doing!

    Zombies are fast, but do they have any other characteristics? What is their gravity modifier; can they jump clean over the walls? Do they have active camouflage? How about shields, or health modifiers? A little more info would help sell the gametype.

    Overall, very good. I'll get back after I test it out.
