The Map This is a tactical infection map. Instead of everyone defending themselves or everyone holding out on one location I divided the human spawning areas in two bases. One has a tank the other mounted machineguns. The alpha zombies are able to use weapons and equipment to overcome their weakness in firepower with spike grenades and radar jammers. This map is made with timed map events. In the beginning zombies are outgunned at both bases but during the first minute of 5 per round extra equipment spawns near the zombie base allowing for more cover or stealth to ambush the humans or sneak past the turrets and tank. If there are still humans left after 2 minutes the fun begins. After two minutes a new base is created in a much better defendable area. At that point the humans can choose where to go but survival is not guaranteed. Screenshots: Right/upper picture: Tank base, one tank, more cover for the humans, a turret on the pipe against zombies coming from above. And limited ammo shotguns. Left/lower picture: Heavy Base, two turrets and shotguns for the humans. Right/upper picture: Last stand base. A turret, high ground and barriers are the humans last chance for survival. Though mancannons will spawn thirty seconds after this base does to hurtle zombie after zombie at high speed toward the platform. Left/lower picture: Weapons depot. Available after two minutes every round. (The grav lift will only spawn at minute two and two mins after it's destroyed, guard it well.) Right: The spawn area for the zombies, it's covered well so I don't reccomend any human to try a counter attack. Radar Jammers spawn after a short while. Left/lower picture:This cover, close to the tank base can not be moved by a tank shot. And driving against it is risky since it will put the tank in range of sneaky Hammer attacks or the dreaded spike grenades. Gametype: The gametype is not your avarage infection. Alpha zombies have weapons pickup and humans longer range motiontrackers. Download Map Download Gametype Apologies for the errors in the first post. Edited now. How does it look?
Ok first of all I like the description, but running it by a spell check wouldn't be a bad ideal. Then you need to go to this page... "How to post your map..." This page will tell you how to post your map properly, You need to embed your images, have a separate link to your map and game type, and it is against the posting rules to link it to your file share... You must make a thread on bungie for the map and game type and put a link to both threads on forge hub... ps. I know it can be confusing to post your first map, I had trouble with my first map also....
I like how you have a timed base appear allowing the players to chose where they wish to go with a risk and a reward. Makes the game play differently for each time. Nice idea, I will download soon.
I appreciate the good feedback :squirrel_giggle: Anyone play a game on it yet? Because so far this map's been played in my mind and I don't have any playtest results. Because there were no playtests. So don't forget to post how well it went when you have played it.
