EDIT: No longer a work in progress, read the spoiler for the OP. Newest abstract wallpaper, use at your own free will. Click to download. Spoiler This is my most recent WIP and I'm quite happy with it thus far... Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated and will be taken into consideration. The sides of the vertical coloured part are going to be littered with vector work... so, yeah. Current title: aavieut (pronounced a-vu) title may change if something different pops into my mind. Coming from a person who loves his abstract wallpapers, I love it. The only problem I have with it is the bottom part of the L shape seems to be to thick, if it was cut down a little bit more I'd be better. Do you have a higher Res of this image? Because currently I think it's a little to small to actually use
Well thank you. ^-^ the highest resolution is here [1920 x 1080] If that is too small still, im curious what dimensions you look for for your wallpapers. I could definitely see how the bottom of the L shape is frowned upon, if I get around to it i'll go back in and see if I like it better after addressing that. Thanks a lot though.
wow thats really cool. I'm trying to think how you made that but I have no idea. Definitely one of the better wallpapers ive seen on this site.
Well, for the circles and the like they are simple vectors, and for the twirly smoke stuff, there are many ways of doing them, including an online program, that I believe is stickied here. Other than that it is pretty simple.
Beeeautiful. I love the gradient that comes off of the rectangular intrusions, it really adds a different form of depth. Added to my background slide show.
Thanks, just a lot of time and knowledge of specific applications. Simple vectors do not imply that they're bad, I do a lot of other vector work but decided to strictly limit it to circle vectors for this piece. Also, I know of that online program, and no, I did not use it, I used real programs that require knowledge and technique. Such as apophysis and photoshop. I don't know whether to take your comment in an appreciative way, or to be offended. Thanks! Maybe for my next peice i'll try to make it compatible with that resolution, or a version at least. Thanks Kuroda! This is what Ace and I were talking about the other night.
