    Howdy y'all.

So I'm working on opening up a LAN Center Cafe sorta shindig here in Austria in the coming year or so, and while I've got the general idea laid out and am currently working on my business plan for it, there's one area I'm lacking substantial knowledge in that I could use a hand with. The tech specs... Like, I'm aware of the basics such as getting all the hardware up and running, but I'm looking more for some insight onto networking everything and setting it all up for streaming and big tournament and what not.

Here's the thing, I don't want this to be any regular 'ol LAN Center. The LAN Center itself is a very difficult business model in regards to financial success... In fact, I don't think any operation can survive based off just being a gaming hub really. My approach is to make it more of a Lounge sort of place, very chic and cool to hang out at. Will have a multiple room break down, with the main room doubling as a Cafe/Lounge, which will also have a couple of TV's showing games that are currently being ran on some of the systems. This is especially important for any events that I'll hold, as it prevents over crowding in the gaming rooms and keeps friends and spectators in the main room and conveniently close to the Bar (concessions = $$).

Anyhow, what sort of tech should I be looking into? Servers for running the whole operation of course, but suggestions on that? Splitters for being able to broadcast the games on the Lounge TVs? Capture cards? Streaming hardware? Software? And programs to keep the PCs healthy and up-to-date? Like, some sort of system restore that kicks in every night? And possibly removable drives so when a PC goes down, there's an immediate fix available until the actual malfunctioned drive gets fixed?

Shoot away fellows. Any and all help is appreciated. Please include links to recommended hardware and software retailers if your making any suggestions.

    Thanks a ton.
