    Map Description
    hello forgehub !
    This is one of my latest maps and it is called lagoon.
    It is a team based game and can be played with slayer, headhunter, stockpile, capture the flag, king of the hill and 3-plot
    while the main area of the map is symmetrical ,the islands on the side are different.
    The map itself is very open but has (in my and some friends opinion) enough cover.
    also I added the juicy effect , because i wanted to add a "the legend of zelda fairytale" effect to this map.
    The map is linked with mancannons to get around this map and you almost always end up in the center area.
    There also is a pirate ship which shoots a fusions coil every 20 seconds
    weapons on map:
    2x DMR
    2X sniper
    2X needler
    1X plasma launcher
    2X plasma repeater

    The biggest problem I see with this map is that there is really only 1 walkable access point to either base. Its nice to have multiple walkways to each base, side of the map.

    This map is really cool though it made me laugh (Good way). Nice boat, nice islands.

    Hmm, I like the little islands you made but the map feels so out of place in the middle of the water, might I recommend trying to make this around one of the forgeworld rocks. Also having only one walkable pathway between each base can create poor player traffic during gameplay, making it too easy for players to know where people are coming from. I commend you for your effort to make this map but I would avoid doing maps in the middle of the ocean for its been done countless times.

    I see you have still lots to learn as there are many things I personally would change, but keep going. Listening will be your greatest asset in forging for it will give you the knowledge to make great maps. GOOD LUCK!

    Thank you both for your feeback and taking your time to look at this map!

    In my original blueprints (yes i make blueprints xD) i had 3 walkways but they didnt felt in place :s . I also created this map in the water to give you the feel your in a (pirate ) bay or village at the water ( like in zelda wind waker) thats why i wanted the fx in there :3 .

    But im going to look what i can do with your advice and i may change the layout of my map by your advice .
