Ever since Halo 3 there has been some form of a destructible object in forge. Example: The wooden Palate (H2A,H3,H4), Shield Barricade (HR), Concrete Barrier (H2A)... In Halo 5's forge there are: 1.Explosives and 2.Team Based Shields. My question is... WHERE ARE ALL THE COOL DESTRUCTIBLE WALLS/FLOORS FROM THE CAMPAIGN THAT YOU CAN GROUND POUND/SHOULDER CHARGE? Or the smashable vents from warzone??? Battlefield is laughing in our faces...
When we first saw the Spartan bash walls and groundpound floors, I assumed that they'd have it in forge. It was just so obvious to me that they would have them. But I guess it's not as obvious to them. Or at least not as easy as we assume it would be to bring that asset over. Destructible objects like that would be cool still but I think there are more important things we need at this point. Though, that is far more important than giant pigs.... Unless those giant pigs are just to block out sight of a much needed concussion rifle.
Totally agree! It seems like it'd be really easy for them to AT LEAST load the already destructible objects in Halo 5 to the Forge inventory!! Another idea I've heard of (and I don't know how feasible this is I'm just throwing stuff out there) is a "glue". Crazy Idea, but what if they created an invisible volume object which changes the physics of objects inside the volume? If they did that you could do things like place your normal objects wherever you want inside of the volume, and script the volume to despawn upon impact or the press of a button.
