Since the TU2, are the Katana and Marathon helmet still achievable? I am pretty sure the Marathon helmet is because I unlocked it for like three seconds last night before it glitched out but is the Katana still achievable? When I look at the body pieces, it just has 6 options which I have unlocked all of them. Is the katana and add on to the 6 or is it not achievable anymore? I really hope it is still achievable because I am SOO close to getting all the original achievments. EDIT: Crap!!! Posted in wrong section! Mod move please!
*Moved to Halo discussion.* I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that it should still be unlockable. When you unlock it it will show up as a new option in the armor selection screen and it will be in slot 7.

i still have my katana and security helmet after TU2 i got it like a week before TU2. i think as long as u get all of the old achievments u can still get it but im not sure, did u get all the old achievements or did u just get 1000G on halo?
Yeah, to unlock the said armor permutations, you need 1000gs in Halo 3, so you should still have it, and you can still unlock it, you can get any achievements, it doesnt have to be the original fyi.
I didn't have security or katana before the update as I dont have all the old achievements. But when I got some of the new ones, it brought my halo 3 gamerscore above 1000, and I unlocked them.
Really!?!? Mine must be glitched or something! I have 1040 gamerscore in Halo but they are still locked!
I've heard mixed replies, some saying you need the original achievements to get the Katana, and others, as said above, have gotten it when they reach 1000.
They are both still achieveable when you reach 1000 GS because I got them and I don't have all of the original achievements.
That is very strange!! I unlocked the marathon helmet and I hit a and went to go change my chest piece and it totally disappeared! It was very strange... I am trying to find a way to "un"-glitch it.... =[
Yeah, that happended with my security shoulders a while ago, but you can view my Bungie profile and I am wearing the katana and I don't have the overkill but I have most of the new ones.
I ALMOST have all the original... I just have like 6 campaign scoring things and Marathon Man.... I really hope I can unlock them because Campaign Scoring is a pain in the butt

Wait, have you got the achievement Orpheus? That was the achievement that gave me security shoulders.
Nope.... I have the shoulders though... I am thinking that my next achievements will be campaign scoring on The Ark, The Covenant, and Halo while getting marathon man....
