Hmmm, well thanks, but the map is not that good (ok maybe it is... ). Trust me I have much better in the works... and on to that matter now. Jump Course Map Pack II Preview Jump Course IV 1st - Wall Banks - Three wall banks (where you use the wall to bank around a corner) in a row. 2nd - Ramp Jumps - Use a steep incline to change the direction of your forward momentum upward in order to reach the raised platforms. 3rd - Pallet Jump - (yes another one) the pallet is suspended (upright) and you must jump into it, tip it and then precede to run an jump off of it. 4th - Peg Jump - Jump across the, incredibly hard to stand on, pegs sticking out of the wall. 5th - Bouncing Soccerball Jump - Three suspended and bouncing/rolling soccerballs must be jumped across to reach the other side. Aim for them when they are low and jump from them when they are high. Jump Course V 1st - Wall Bank Crouch Jumps - The same as before, but further to go. 2nd - Slim Platform Ramp Jumps - Same as before but there is only a hair thin platform to stand on (prepare to overshoot beyond all reason...). 3rd - Triple Grenade Jump - Three successive grenade jumps off of very small platforms, no cheating here because you get all your grenades at the first platform (do the first jump from the grenade spawn or you will not have enough nades). 4th - UNKOWN AS OF NOW (MAY 15, 2009) 5th - UNKOWN AS OF NOW (MAY 15, 2009) Jump Course VI UNKOWN AS OF NOW (MAY 15, 2009) The unkown jumps are completed in BETA form, I am just yet to determine their position throughout the courses...
Some of the most insane jumps I have ever seen, especially that last one. :-O Nothing to suggest besides merge the walls but that doesn't even bother me on maps like it does some people. Great job, can't wait for the new ones.
Yeah, I'm so downloading. it'll be cool to learn new tricks, being I have my own obsticle course on Sandbox ( running a contest for 2,000 MP's atm ) It'll be interesting to see new tricks other people have made up.
Here is an update for those who care... 4th - Golfball Drop Jump - Jump across the golfballs just as they reach the bottom of their decline. 5th - Turret Rainbow Jump - A rainbow of turrets must be jumped across and up as each turret cascades through the air. Jump Course VI 1st - U-Turn Jumps - A series of double wall banks (like a U-Turn); three total. 2nd - Single Ball Jump - Not quite as easy as the name implies, a very fast moving, suspended golf ball moves side to side; and must be jumped off at just the right time. 3rd - UNKOWN AS OF NOW (JUNE 18, 2009) 4th - UNKOWN AS OF NOW (JUNE 18, 2009) 5th - UNKOWN AS OF NOW (JUNE 18, 2009) The unkown jumps are completed in BETA form, I am just yet to determine their position throughout the courses...
So there is a second map pack being built? What base map is it on? And is the fith one finished or is just the order of jumps decided upon? ...so many questions!!! When can I have it? Sounds epic though, please hurry up and finish it.
Ummm in order here are your answers: Yes...; Sandbox; No, it is yet to be finished just the layout is decided upon; And you can have it when all of them are finished. Which could run anywhere from a month to multiple months. Hope that helps, Sarge525
This was a good pack except for the non used circumstancial jumps i.e the soccer ball jumps and the one with the mongoose in Jump map 2.
