Jetpack Griffball!! I know this has been thought of before, but I'm not sure its been made yet. Its nothing super fancy, but it'll get the job done. A simple arena for Jetpack Griffball. Settings should be the same as Halo 3's version just with unlimited jetpacks. I will also include a gametype of Jetpack Shottiesnipers, and in Team Slayer, there are shield walls so you cant spawn kill. Pics: DL for Slayer gametype
Wow what a great idea. A few tips: Make sure you line up your spawns properly so they are equal distance away from the bomb Maybe add a roof to the arena rather than just leaving it open as people may decide they want to escape Move the bomb spawn away from the bottom of the arena and put it up higher so people dont die when they try to grab it Fill in the gaps along the walls you have created to stop people from escaping again and to make it look much more proffesional Maybe add some lights to define team sides You could consider moving the arena closer to the ground so you die if you go into the water Overall a very funky idea and I hope it gets included into the grifball playlist if and when it is introduced.
I put a death barrier up top and you shouldnt die when you go downthe "shaft" area. But i'll tweak the spawns but im not sure i get the reasoning of the last point.
i think i made a preview for this exact thing before any of the other versions that you guys made. anyway i like the hole in the center its a good idea but you should add some sort of platform in the middle so people can land to pick up the bomb. i don't really see the point to the shield doors seeing as people can just camp behind them making it practically impossible to score but it might work. good job on the map but you might want to add a little to it or maybe even a roof to this.
Forgive me if this is a question that is already well known, but what did you do to allow for Armor Ability use while holding an objective when creating a gametype? I thought you could either use an ability or hold an objective but not both.
Its in a section called "flag carrier traits" or "core carrier traits" or "bomb carrier traits". I think it is "flag carrier traits" even though it is assault.
I might be WAY off but if the person gets killed while flying with the bomb, won't the bomb just fall all the way down and be out of play? Then things would just have to start all over once the bomb re-spawned, correct?
