is it me or all the maps with big or complicated names get allot of views and downloads? We have our answer, its still up for descussion.
it's like newspaper headlines, if you can grab their attention they are more likely to read the article - for example, a newspaper headline like Man Injures Leg will not get as many views as Man Falls Into Giant Meat Grinder, even if the content is exactly the same likewise: My New Map... will not get as many downloads as Giant Meat Grinder of Doom!!!
Yea it is true all these sci-fi ish names get more views then like say the real purpose of the map.example: Death Pit or Giant pit with exploding fun!
It's petty and annoying, but it does work, unfortunately. However, if it uses a bunch of simple, elementary school-level vocabulary words (for an example, 'Chaotic Deathtrap'), then it's safe to assume that the map will turn out to be junk. If it has a more interesting name, such as one that doesn't seem to have relevancy with the map but actually does, then it would have a slightly higher probability of being good.
