So I'm trying to make an infection map where the infected can survive where the survivers cannot. I have had no luck with changing the instant death volumes to defenders or attackers. Changing the team setting jas no effect. If you use a safe zone with the kill volume, it just nullifies it.
I would place a kill boundary 1/8 of a unit above the floor and then a team invisible blocker above it so that one team stays above the kill zone and the other does not.
Team settings do not affect Infection players. The only "team" setting that works is the initial spawn points. (Humans are "Red"/Defenders, Infected are "Blue"/Attackers.) No other team settings work in Infection, due to the game being considered a Free-For-All gametype.
