Hey there, yet another map preview here. I'm still not planning on posting these, for the same reasons mentioned in the last one, as well as the reason of: NEEDING TESTERS Now yes, I acknowledge that there is a testers guild, but to be honest I'm slightly lazy. And plus, this post isn't one meant to get testers. It's a preview, as the name implies. So, onto the pictures! This is an overview of the first portion of the map, Spartans spawn on the beach. Due to the long walk, there's one mongoose in each base, 1 DMR in each base, and 2 DMR's in the open spawn. The falcon, warthog, and killball do not spawn on the first phase. The warthog spawns on the second, the killball and falcon spawn on the third, and the killball is an indicator of the activation of the teleporter (for the warthog and mongooses). This is the middle of the first phase area. The rockets are in the center building, and the teleporter for the second phase spawns in that right forward building. This is the elite base, as I'm sure you could've guessed. The shade turret is placed between those two middle ramps, and used primarily to defend against those. Well, not the ramps, against the Spartans running up them. On the left and right are less direct paths, which is something I've always favored (such as the rock path on Last Resort in Halo 3). The left one is much more hidden, but easier to defend against. There are elite respawns on the top of the center building, and in the tube pieces on the walls. The capture points are in the small trapezoidal huts on the sides. This is where the second phase takes place. The Covenant have a bomb at the bottom of the ramp that they intended to use against the humans. Instead, the Spartans must use it to blow open that door, with the help of a warthog. The only problem here is with the elite spawns. The Spartans can attack through the cave under Alaska, and a teleporter against the waterline. The core spawns in here, on the island. This phase grants access to a sniper rifle, focus beam, a ghost, and a falcon. The capture point is on the top of the large rock formation.
