Invasion: Recision Backstory: Sergeant Jeff: About 6 months back, the UNSC pointed out to us that there was a very important data collection, which held the secret on how spartans could use the armor ability evade, and was in our vicinity, but they said it was too dangerous. The UNSC said they had reports of Banshees and Wraiths, and that the location would be too hard for our vehicles to terrain. Thats when we turned to ONI. ONI did quick scans of the area and found no traces of any vehicles, covenant or human. They said the mission was 'do-able', but said it was almost suicide. And I guess thats why they hired the best... General Introduction: Ok, so this map took about 12-14 hours of solid forging, and I think is still in its beta, even though there is no money left. This is my first invasion map, and my third post on ForgeHub. The map in my opinion is evenly balanced, and little decorations make it the way it is now. I thank all the testers, who in my opinion, help shaped the map it is today. The map is recommended for 4v4 Invasion, and there aren't many of those out there. Phase 1: Overview: Spartans: Spartans, quickly but unoticedly, must break down the first defense of the Covenants Strong Hold: Elites: Do not let the humans break our first defense, that data core must not be breached. Elites, stop the spartans in their tracks, by blowing up the covenant explosives next to the oblectives: Phase 2: Overview: Spartans: Alright spartans, this is by far the hardest stage, their secondary defense. The Elites will be more aggressive and will kill anything in their sights, and have also been given more weapons. To compensate, ONI have deployed some more weapons and ammo for you. You must hold out in these objectives to break down this defense: Elites: Elites, DO NOT LET THE SPARTANS PASS, this will make it harder for them. Get some rage in you. We have given you more ammo, weapons, and cover, so kick some human ass. Phase 3: Overview: Spartans: Ok Spartans, you've got his far, now time to escape with core. Take the core to the escape pelican, but watch out. The Eiltes will stop at nothing to destroy us. Use tactics to safely retrieve the core: Use this Sniper with limited ammo to quickly take out enemies: Escape the loading dock using the getaway Pelican: Elites: Rargghhhhhh!How could you ferocious Elites, let the puny humans break through two lines of defenses. Now you must stop at nothing to destroy them, they must NOT ESCAPE WITH THE CORE! Our Spawn: Use this focus rifle well, to protect the core, and take out the humans sniper... Action Shots: Weapons: Phase 1: 2x Grenade Launcher, 50 sec respawn 1x Shotgun, 90 sec respawn 2x Health Pack, 40 sec respawn. Phase 2: 1x DMR, 35 sec respawn 1x Grenade Launcher, 50 sec respawn 1x Needle Rifle, 35 sec respawn 1x Concussion Rifle, 50 sec respawn. I like how you made an invasion map in the coliseum haven't seen any of them, and the doorway in the forth picture looks epic : )
Looks like it has a lot of potential to be an amazing Invasion map. It does seems as the Elites completely overpower the Spartans in every way though... Balance it more?
Well, the first phase is very hard for the Elites to defend. The second phase is actually very well balanced, as there is a concussion rifle, grenade launcher, needle rifle, DMR. Then in the third phase there is a sniper rifle, and a focus rifle. If there is something that needs to balanced, could you please tell me?
