Ive seen a lot of people asking how to interlock objects and decided its about time someone told them. so heres a step by step guide to interlocking objects. 1. create the first object and place it wherever you want it. 2. press 'X' on the object and under 'respawn at start' select 'no' 3. press 'X' again and select 'respawn time' you can put whatever time you want but i recomend 60 or 90 seconds. 4. press 'start' and select 'start new round' 5. when round starts select the second object which you would like to interlock with the first and place it how you would like it. (you have whatever you set the respawn time for on the first object to place the second object) 6. once the first object reaches its respawn time it will appear interlocked with the second object. 7. repeat steps 2-6 to your hearts desire of your brains limit. Hope this helped and if you have any questions feel free to ask. Happy Forging P.S. this may seem like it would take a long time but the whole thing can be completed in under 30 seconds
ya i have a friend who showed me that and it just seemed to me that most people see it and think 'omg im not gunna read this whole thing just tell me how to do it...' so i decided to make a more straight forward guide sry if nobody likes me for it but thats just my opinion
i guess most people would consider the lack of replies to mean that nobody likes it or cares but i see it as 'cool my guide is good enough that people dont have to ask ne questions because its clearly explained' and i hope you guys see it that way too :squirrel_wink:
Don't ever triple post again. The reason this hasn't got any replies is possibly because people who read these things have all read the forging 101. The bullet point system is slightly clearer if linear rather than a description of the phenomenon, so thanks for the effort you put in.
well i think everyone already knows about interlocking from the guide that was previously posted. however it is always god to repost things like this because they go away quickly because there is little sum1 can reply on in a post like this.
This is a really great community and the people who have started this site and that have been here for a while have gone above and beyond the call of duty to write highly informative posts to make you and everyone else here a better Forger. But there is a catch...YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO READ THEM!!! In all sincerity, welcome aboard; but before you start randomly posting, take the time to cruise around this totally bad-ass site. There is a 99% chance that the sweet info you want to get kudos for coming up with has already been thought of and shared with the community.
sry bout the triple post (wasnt paying attention and forgot i could edit) im new to the whole forum thing. i saw the other guide and thought it a bit overwhelming so this one is simpler and more straight forward
Also note that you can set the objects you made disappear to instant respawn instead of waiting for it to spawn.
