    sarlacc is an intresting idea. jabbas palace is also known as the rancor pit, which we are doing already (mags is working on it)...the sandcrawler might work, but idk what u can do there, its kinda cramped...not good for duels...

    i dotn think we'll have enough area to do it, thats the problem. right now it has 1 small 'bridge' (not the item in forge, i mean the thing itself) and a little floaty platform, but maybe we'll put a bridge or 2 above or below, idk tho because we can only get approx 12-14 teleporters to do the deathpit

    I think you could do "Mustafar" if you did some sort of lava field at the bottom for when they fall off. Fusion coils or maybe make the platform outside of the map to utalize the death barrier?

    Well I was thinking that gravity hammers and rockets would be interesting because you could use the gravity hammer to knock back the rockets and it would replicate the "force". Force push or force throw etc. The needlers could also be force like. I dont know whatever you want lol I am good with swords.

    How about using portable grav lifts as a 'force push'? Have several of them around that respawn quickly so you could use them for jumping to another level or as a defensive weapon against your opponent?

    some maps include portable gravs for a 'force jump'. others also include a power drain as 'lightning', which can be VERY powerful, if well placed.

    I had an idea to possibly recreate a particular part of the battle on Mustafar. I'm not quite sure how i would work though.

    Use a single row of bridges like that thing that collapsed into the lavaflow that they fought on, and have sharp downgrades that go to death-porters. it would be like a suspended bridge thingy, i think it would look cool too.

    thats intresting, but i dont think it would be good for the gametype we have setup...its really fun, but you cant ever really have no way to go, and u have to be able to back up always

    We have made huge progress on the concepting for the Maul battle... the shield doors now work in a much more similar fashion to how they are in the movie.

    Excitement!

    That's sooooo cool!! I can't wait to see what you've done to make them work like the movie! I had my own ideas about how to do it, but I want to see how you guys make out with it.

    i have a feeling ur idea might be the same that mine was before, we actually tried it and it phailed...2 different possibilities...then shock adds the specialness to it and it works perfectly :O

    tho i still wish we had gotten some building done...lol

    we were originally hoping to finish a map in a couple weeks but i kinda doubt it now...tho shock does forge much faster than me, so i guess its possible...

    I'm largely unavailable this weekend, but starting next week I'd expect we can finish up on one of the maps.

    These are sounding sweet, especially the whole shield doors like the movies thing. I really hope this catches on. As long as the maps aren't getting thrown together by noobs of course.

    we will start to work on the maul duel today probobly, and we're aiming to finish it in a week or two...im thinking we'll release a few seperately and then include them in a pack, but i havent talked to shock about releasing yet

    Rough concepts are usually never friendly on the eyes, with Shock as a partner though, I'm sure everything will come together quite well.
