Improving added mechanics for H6

    The ultimate break down of how you would like the mechanics of the Halo franchise improved upon and carried over to H6. (Lets face it they are here to stay, focus on what you think can be changed for the better)

    Clamber < Wall jump, instead of grabbing a ledge and pulling yourself up, hit the jump button facing a wall and you can kick yourself upwards gaining some more height. You can keep your gun up, and even jump backwards off a wall. You will not be able to kick off of a wall while falling from heights.

    Stabalizer: Hold the jump button and when you reach the pinnicle of your jump you will initiate stabalize. You can also wait for decention to hold the jump button, initiating stabalize. No ads required.

    Thrust: Replacing spartan charge, thrusting now allows you to drop your enemies shield if you succesfully hit them. Sprint + SC = further knockback and effective distance

    Melee: Not a new mechanic, but long overdue for some changes. Press once for a simple swing of the gun, light aim assist. Hold to charge up a kick, medium aim assist knockback and hit stun. Knockback capable of turning tagerts into flying damage models, dropping shields of potential enemy targets. Holding melee button mid air will initiate spartan ground pound


    Sprint: Being shot during any phase of sprint animation will reverse momentum, similer to being shot while ads

    ADS: While zooming in will sacrafise local self awareness (radar) zooming in will now highlight enemies who have been shot by teamates. Not through walls, just a slick red outline and name. Not much of a gameplay changer but should be a nice aesthetic touch.

    Slide: While sliding you can now keep your weapon up and track targets in 360 locomotion. Similer to BO3.
    Momentum gained from falling at high speeds will carry over allowing for a faster, longer slide

    I'm not a big fan of the red highlights, because I've played titanfall 2, and it's too easy to locate your targets, especially at a longer range. And a red highlight on a blue played would stand out more than a red highlight on a red player.

    I also think thrust should stay the same or similar, and spartan charge be removed.

    How about we remove everything but stabalize, that would be an improvement to the abilities

    Because I mean, 343 do love to remove stuff from previous titles, why not the abilities?

    They've redistributed AAs because they where complained about en mass. Sprint was tweaked for the same reason. But not wholy removed... This time around the community isn't so vocal about there desire for change sooo

    I think it's safe to say they are here to stay

    This, in my opinion, just worsens it. I love the abilities, but i lost you when you tried implementing a strong thrust. Like how are you supposed to hit anyone with thrust unless it´s op? I also dont support the A button change. The stabalizers are there to help, well stabilize your aim. Not as a jet pack.

    P.S. This may come off as salty, because i am salty.

    Remove Spartan Charge and AR starts and I'd be 100% fine with the new mechanics.
