Immure (A Sugary creation)

    Yep, back again for my final round, bringing out a map I truly hope makes up for any lost ground to any 2v2, 1v1 fans, especially those who completely annihilate me (not saying any names... um... copyright issues.... patent and pending.)

    For once, I went with a asymmetrical map which I rarely go for after seeing some disgrace towards symmetrical maps and constant criticism from my fairly large maps. It is a enclosed 2-possibly 8 player map, 2 leveled high ground styled walk through (most likely 4 players max) in the cave. This version is my over $5000 version and hope you like what you see.

    Current Weapon list

    • 1 Shotgun: 120 seconds no spare clips
    • 1 Needler: 90 seconds 2 spare clips
    • 3 DMRs: all 30 seconds, two with 2 spare clips, one with 1 spare clip
    • 2 Plasma Rifles: 30 seconds
    • 2 Needle Rifles: 45 seconds 2 spare clips
    • 2 Magnums: 30 seconds 2 spare clips
    • 4 Frags Grenades
    • 2 Plasma Grenades

    I must say that from the pictures, it looks very confusing. You used so many conflicting textures that it makes the map seem very confusing. It is a lot more difficult to make textures flow together well on asymmetric maps, but that just means that you have to try all the more harder.

    And how's the framerate on this map? I see a lot of objects with lights on them and those objects, next to object density, are the largest contributor to framerate drops.

    Framerate is not a problem as that is something i highly focus on fixing. I have tripled check to be sure. I hope it is not too confusing and it may be because of the pics but I was hoping to get a focus on textures and to keep the map simple as it is about 2/3 the size of Zealot.

    this looks good, i like the choice in pieces used. honestly i would probably try and substitute the building blocks for something else, thats just me tho. I love the 2x2 tall with the double walls.. mhhmm looking good alot of places. Really enjoyed looking at the little aesthetics also

    WOW! I'm guessing this is the map you were making in the tunnel. Also did you get the map to interact with the player like you were trying?

    I tried to, but it just did not settle like I wanted it to. However, explosions have been added to create noise interaction.
