So I've been working on a map for quite a long time and completely forgot that I had spawned in a tank (For measuring reasons) and it's now sitting at the bottom of the ocean on Alpine. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to delete the object? I have tried {RESPAWN ALL OBJECTS} but as soon as I do that, the tank blows up (Since it's underwater), the only thing that I can currently think of that may work is Grouping every single object on the map (987 and that's if the game doesn't crash while doing so) and then locking them all and hitting {DELETE ALL UNLOCKED}. However that seems like an awful amount of work for a problem so small.
Spawn all, and rapid fire delete. I had this exact problem. You'll get lucky and snag it eventually Edit : I mean rapid fire the delete where ever the tank spawns
This used to be a problem on reach lol, me and my friends would have splitscreen *cough COUGH* battles in forge, and sometimes one of us would accidentally lose one in the ocean set to 1 second respawn, Those were the good old times.
I have this same problem on an alpine map of mine. I have locked every object on the map. And tried the delete all unlocked, which did not work for this map. Mine is a banshee, which I have tried forever to spam delete over it. I have tried to place a block under it and partially on it in hopes of it moving up after spawning. It just blows up and the pieces come up. I have placed teleporters around it that will move vehicles through it. Nothing works for it. I finished my map anyway. Every two mins that banshee blows up, but no one has ever noticed in my customs group.
Right well I managed to delete the tank and mess up my map in the process (The grouping slightly moved everything out of place, so now I have to go through each of the 980+ Objects and replace them) But I locked everything then respawned everything and deleted all. I think the destroyed vehicle has to be on the map for it to get deleted.
You don't have to group stuff to lock it. Just select all of that object, lock, and go to the next. You would only need to go around and lock additional pieces if you had more than 64 of that type.
Yeah I already knew that, it was just easier to group 300+ objects together and then lock them, instead of 64 at a time XD I also had used several objects way more than 64 times.
