Ok, first off I know how to interlock, but when I'm doing the 'respawntime 60' or w/e when I start a new round I forget where it is and when I put like a wall for a marker or something it still comes out sloppy :surprise:mg:.

This mainly happens to me when I'm making a wall of double boxes to seal off a part of a map, if you have any tips for better interlocking please tell me.

Hello and welcome to ForgeHub! (I feel justified in saying that, because you have less than 50 posts...)

Interlocking tends to be a hit-or-miss practice. Generally speaking, you're either spot on where you want it, or you're not. If you are, great. If you're not, delete and start a new round (which can get tedious). The only way to get better at it (outside of using guides such as walls) is to practice and keep at it. Try new things to get your positioning just right, and see if you can come up with bigger and better ideas. Eventually it'll pay off.

As for finding where the yet-to-spawn object is, unless you've got it geomerged, you can usually find it by looking for the light blue teardrop that all objects possess in forge mode. Usually, it's at the bottom of the object in its spacial center, though sometimes you'll find it smack dab in the middle of the object.

    Happy forging! ^_^

Fence walls are the best items to use as "markers". Place them right up against the object where you want the objects to interlock (without getting in the way of each object). And then use those fence wall guides to place your next object. Practice makes perfect. Keep trying and you'll get better at it.
