Im going to be making a montage but im not sure of what im going to use yet. Im trying to broaden my horizons at the same time. Montage Style - Laid back, relaxed Leaning towards - Numb Encore Jay-Z+Linkin Park, Dare Gorillaz, DaftPunk So what song do you think will suit it best? It must be a lively song, no heavy metal or depressing music It should have a great introduction, but the intro shouldnt last too long It should be around 3-5 minutes It should have quite a strong beat, nothing too random or dull Im open to pretty much any suggestions, so what song do you think will suit the montage best?
Depends on the montage but ill throw a few in that i like **** off song by reel big fish - i think its catchy plus with the bits where everyones repeating you can pile in a kill apieve to sync it 3:25 secs =My main suggestion Its a catchy laid back song and i personelly like the intro.Plus its about how we shouldnt insult each other....which is funny considering MM Rocking like a hurricane by Scorpians -I know you said no rock but i think its catchy plus it sounded good in a montage ive already seen 3:52 secs Kinda long intro though :S you can always cut some of it off though Montage by trey parker - 2:02 secs shorter than what you want though

Dare - Gorillaz. Really nice solid beat and a kind of airy sound and feel to it, with some good fades aligned to the beat it could be really nice. Or if you want something really laid back then try El Manana - Gorillaz They're both from the Demon Days album.
BOOM by POD is a great montage song Maybe Song 2 by Blur... umm h/o, im looking through my itunes library right now. Bodybag by Hit The Lights (Trust me, thats not a screamo, heavy metal song) Fat Lip- Sum41 (might be a little too fast) In Too Deep by Sum41 might be better Joker and The Thief- Wolfmother (kind of long, almost at 5 minutes) Sweetness- Jimmy Eat World Can't Stop- Red Hot Chilli Peppers (again may be too long, 4:30) Sorry if none of those songs are really fitting what you want. i've never done a montage so i can't really tell what you need in these songs. but i hope i helped at least.
