I am making a map based on D-Day, on Last Resort, but i am having trouble making the Allies spawn in the water just off of the beach, i put an equal amount of spawn points on both the Axis and the Allies sides of the map, and even put them on different teams. But the Allies die, and spawn behind the sea wall, behind the Axis and where there is no spawn point placed. i even went back and deleted EVERYTHING on the map and started over but still i cant get these damn spawn points to work right. I have been trying to figure this out for a few weeks and cant fix it, if anyone has any tips for fixing this, please help me
Use a respawn area around the particular points that you want grouped for one team. Change that respawn area's team to the team that you want, and make sure you are using regular spawn points... not just starting spawn points. If you are still having trouble... let me know and I'll take a look at it for you...
The places your Allies are respawning that do not contain any respawn points are called emergency spawns. To discover their location and block them, go into the game in forge, block or delete the spawns you've already placed, and kill yourself. You should respawn at a point with no respawn at all, this is an emergency spawn point. Go to moniter mode and drop a crate on the exact spot to block that respawn, then kill yourself again to find the next one. Keep doing this until the game stops you from respawning at all(black screen). You've now blocked every emergency spawn point, as well as forged respawn points. Now either save and quit to respawn at a starting point, or have a second controller on splitscreen place a respawn point for you to continue forging.
