Hyrule Temple from Super Smash Bros Melee!!!! Description: (quoted from wiki) The stage is one of the eighteen default stages available in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It is a Legend of Zelda stage on which characters from that franchise will usually battle the player in single-player battles. The layout seems to be based on the palaces from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. In Melee's All-Star mode, this stage is played on when you face Zelda and any of her teammates. Map: Sandbox *Here is some screenshots of the map. as of now it is an Aesthetic map, so there is pretty much no point of possible gameplay on the map. I have pretested the map with some friends, but have came to the conclusion that it is too narrow and small for Halo gameplay, and needs to be widened. However, I am trying to work more on this map to make it a possible playable map. I plan on widening the map to make easier not fall off from all sides. I have ideas on how to place weapons about and how to create the gameplay, but not sure yet. This looks pretty cool and accurate from the pics. I'll donwload soon and look at it even closer, all though the gameplay will be way different seeing as it isn't a 2D fighting game, but a 3D first person. Good luck anyway, this looks quite close. Especially for a first post. Nice job.

Bitchin! lol I loved that game and this map looks to be very accurate! I'm DLing, and Maybe theres a gametype to be SSB... That's a good idear... Get to it! lol Here's a suggestion... Add little ledges to the cliff sides that you can stand on to simulate hanging on to edge. Also to put barriers like wedge longs across the front of the map like in SSB where yiu cant fall off the side, but in halo, only if you jump that way

He hasn't finished it yet. >.> Also, aesthetically, I will agree that it seems accurate, perhaps make it so that everyone has health and custom powrups will spawn to act like health regenerators or something. The only way to really get that smash bros feeling, is to watch it afterward in theater, because obviously you'll be playing first person.

Good aesthetically. It was also one of my favorites. Yes, it would be cool to play on. Maybe you should have some poor kid spawn across the map to watch it every round.
alright, everyone i updated the my thread w/ the link to DL the map. i have also added the DL for the SSB MELEE gametype. obviously 2D to 3D was going to be a challenge. it was quite hard trying to figure out how to create the gametype that best simulates Super Smash. So i created what i thought would work best w/ the map. SSB MELEE GAMETYPE: -Each player has 10 lives ONLY! -Falling off the map accidently costs a life, so be careful! -Damage resistance has been bumped up to 500% to simulate damage on Super Smash. It WILL take longer to kill your opponent which is THE POINT. -Shield regeneration has been disabled. -I have selected random primary and secondary weapons to best get the feel of Super Smash. -Grenade regeneration has been enabled to simulate item pick up. I thought about placing weapons and grenades on the map, but realized that weapon placement won't spawn randomly, thus resulting to random weapons start. -Gravity is 75%. -Waypoints are visible to everyone to eliminate hiding. -The player with the most kills win. I think i'll be adding grav lifts to to the map because some places seem unreachable. I tried bringing the gravity down to 50%, but that was rediculous. You could practically jump from one end of the map to the other. haha. Please feel free to make suggestions about the gametype. thanx everyone for the feedback and support. enjoying the ideas! keep them coming!!!
I LOOOOVE ZELDA, so great job on this man! Maybe a bit of decoration to make it look a bit more rendered, but other than that I'M DOWNLOADING!

Wow, that is incredibly accurate to the Melee/Brawl original. Good job. Yeah, it's pointless because it's too narrow, but it's hyrule temple! Who cares?
