People say I want to be immortal, but they don't understand I want to live in the Matrix. So stop talking about gene manipulation. I mean you could do a combination of gene and BCI, but I'm more interested in BCI.
Not happening in your lifetime or mine. If you want to see the high tech world of the future or the wartorn world of the future....the best you could do is get cryogenically frozen and in the future hope they can somehow revive you. But to me thats stupid life isnt life without death. If you really want a part of you to live on this is what reproduction is for,you can pass down genes and traits so when we die a part of us can still live on in our offspring sort of...lol not really.
That is more of a philosophy than a scientific claim. There are many cells or regions on your body that do not completely regenerate (enamal on teeth) or do not regenerate at all (neurons).
