i had it once but i sent it away soon as it happened then i got it back in about 2 months but i didn't get a normal xbox i got an elite haha i was so pumped that i got an elite!!
once, and as soon as i saw it i unplugged my xbox and waited a little while then came back and it was fine, sigh close one

Yes! Its been a long time since my xbox has been broken, but Microsoft said they fixed it and sent it back to me. Just to wait a little longer...
raises hand. the fact that i borrowed the xbox from my boyfriend and played it while he was at work and stuff made it so much more scary. its actually happened like over 3 times i think. but afterwards, it would work again. then it finally just pooped and we sent it in haha
How may RRoD's have I had? I've logged 7 incidents (10+ if you include unlogged due to power dropouts, or just forgot to log it), but the console still worked. Oddly enough though, what killed it though was an E 74. The GPU fried in the sucker. It was still covered under M$'s General Hardware Error 3 year limited plan, oddly enough. I have a pretty big blog post of it here (registration should not be required) if you want to read up on it. What sucks though, is that the refurbished console that I got back from M$ also has an A/V error with it, but it still works... after you turn it on and off a couple of times.
NEVER!!! WOOO but i currentlt waiting to get my console back not cos of the rings but i wasnt getting any picture, only sound should get it back tomorrow
i have had it twice before and i just got it again it took 3 months to come back last time even though the repair factory is just an hour away
sooner or later you'll get one, best thing to do is follow the adevice in xbox.com on how to avoid gettin it i.e dont put it next to heat sources i.e tv, radiator etc
I thought I had it once but thank god it was just the video cable that had somehow come loose out of the back.
