I notice on maps that people have double or single boxes merged into the ground almost all the way, with only maybe a wall high of the box left. I have tried (and failed) to do this several times, using doors and/or teleporters, but each time the box either goes crazy and flies across the map, or is sucked into the floor that is the abyss of foundry. One time, I managed to do it, and then after a new round was started it flung across the map. I can't seem to figure out what is wrong.
Try it the old school way where you set the pushing object to the height you want the top of your box to and set it not to start at the beginning of the round. There's a couple of good tuts, one of them's a video that uses the old school method to glitch in the crane. Here it is.
as far as i know you block the boxes on all 4 sides(i use bridges)then put the door side on and then grab the box repeatedly until it reaches the hieght you want this always works for me
A window panel is one of the thinnest things, but there's some way to get it so close to the floor that you can walk onto it smoothly, post back when I find out how. BTW, Squid, I noticed your location is slowly getting closer, awesome.
It can actually be REALLY easy man, you just need to be a bit carefuller, and map out where you want to sink the object. Just try using boxes, instead of teleporters. Its the best way, and it won't hurt unless you have to do it a lot. ::EDIT:: You can do it with the door method, basically door drop it twice then save. Then door drop it again, and right as you pick it up save and quit. Then remove the doors, and drop it again, I suggest saving at each step. You usually have to try a few times to get it right. But use boxes to hold it in place for sure.
