If you don't know what Z fighting is, it's when you interlock 2 objects together and the point where the objects meet are flashing rapidly irratatingly trying to overlap the other object.

When you interlock tin cups together, they tend to do this Z fighting much more frequently, is there any method or way I can prevent this?

I just pick up the object and place it down again, usually fixes my problem every time.. :/

...grab it, then use the right trigger and press the right stick in a direction?

No-clipping them helps me, seeing as it is hard to get thing perfect by eyeballing it therefor they won't be z-fighting because one will be ever so slightly higher than the other. Another method I've seen doesn't fix it but they made the map dark enough you couldn't see it so I guess that works if you're lazy.
