I want to join in on the forging greatness. Create maps of Halo CE quality. Halo 5 matchmaking, besides doubles playlist, does not give me what I desire in maps. So I want to create them. How do I begin? Please help with any suggestions. Thanks everyone

Well, it is simple. You create parameters, make a check list of what you want in the map, and steal ideas from people. The life of designing.

There's all kinds of things on you tube for this. I'd say first try to make anything you can using as many pieces as possible to get used to the pallet.
Then for your next map either draw out a layout and try to create it or, pick a theme and try to stick to it.

You start by obtaining a copy of the Game, "Halo 5". Then you find a corner to cry in because you just bought yourself Halo 5. After you've gotten over the fact that you just wasted your hard earned cash, spend more of your hard earned cash on req packs to further enhance your skin insanity.

Once you have done all of that, you then be ready to make forge maps :D

Making the map is one thing, and typically you arent going to start with gold so dont get those hopes up just yet. Itll start off as a dirty slimy turd most likely, but do not fret. We have some great testing lobbies through a system called the ATN (Alliance Testing Network) that will sift through the map and find the little nuggets of gold and help you realize what you do great and where you need some more work. over time we will help you get on your feet to making great maps. all you need is an open mind and some time. PM for more info and I can try to get you pointed to some of these people

If you're not used to the Forge controls, yet, then I'd try to make something aesthetic first. Get used to the controls, the pallette, the canvases. The more confident you are with your ability to actually use Forge, the easier it will be. The whole map creation part is a little harder to grasp and we have a bunch of good map designers here. I am not one of them, so you can read other comments for that >_>

Once you get a hold of the controls, inspiration and design guides are invaluable.
