I want to make an indoor map on Sandbox. I also wat to include a small garden, and I'm trying to make a lawn by interlocking upside-down tin cups (the golf holes) to create a grass-like effect. However, when I do this the places where the grass interlocks begin to flicker (z-fighting). How can I counter this?

I dont think you should. Z-fighting indicates that the floor is so perfectly flact and seamlessly interlocked that the mpatterns on the boxes dont know which shows. I guess it'd matted in aesthetics, but that's just me.

Usually if you angle it very slightly, like a half a degree, you shouldn't get the z-fighting. Just keep messing with it till you get it right, it can be a pain.

Just tap the garden cups a couple of times, this usually fixes the problem.

If your making the garden purely for aesthetic reasons then you should just tilt the golf cups until it stops flickering. If you plan to make them traversable however tilting the cups would create small bumps when you walk over them, in which case you should probably just try to cover up those areas with blocks or something (as long as it is symmetrical it will look nice and no-one will judge their purpose).

If the objects are flickering, just save, quit, and restart. The flickering goes away 90% of the time. Works with all immovable objects.
