What techniques did these guys use to create these maps? They seem so profesional, and they make the track go any which way the want it to while still making it perfect and un-bumpy. here are some of the examples of what I mean. "Paramount" Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details "Record Ramp" (in this one how did he get outside of the map like that??) Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details "Cherry Kiss" Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details "Blackheart" Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details "Dark Dunes" Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details Thanks for the help!
Hours of hard work, merging, interlocking, improvising, and saving+quiting. Some people put their sweat, tears, and blood into their maps.
A bazillion save-quits and a lot of patience. It does take a while to make a good racetrack but the end result is usually very good. On the record ramp map, he started from a canvas with blocked towers and area outside the skybubble. (I can PM you the map if you want it.)
whenever i make race tracks i usualy just use slanted pieces already included on the map. as on sandbox, there are ramps, you can balance these sideways so they can make a "racetrack on the wall". sandbox has an easier way of balancing things, you just look at the item and place it on a long brick. slant it sideways and hold it there for a minute. viola, you now have a ......walll raom?
