In this thread; I'm going too show you how too use small bumps too dramatically change game play.

A small bump, which on Sandbox you can use two small ramps too make, can alter game play, mainly due too the fact if you run into it, it will stop you.

    Example of said ramps:

This; is mainly useful too stop people running away from fights, for example, if someone is chasing you shooting at you, failing too jump it will slow you down and allow the chaser too assassinate you.

It also blocks bullets, grenades, equipment and most vehicles.

If you're making a map that's longer in one direction, then it is very useful, as it slows down any runners.
A lot of the time; 'Runners' are caused by players having low shields/trying too get something, while the player behind has an automatic gun, such as the Assault or Battle Rifle. Alternatively, it can provide a bit of a boost for the 'Runner', as when they are running, the chaser might bump into it and be slowed down.

This mixes things up a bit, but if it's not deliberate or well-placed, then these so-called 'bumps' will be criticised for bad forging.

It is a good idea though. Make a 'wall' of these around a power weapon spawn, see how it affects gameplay.

All this talk about Sandbox! The same is true of concrete barriers, for us Mythic-deprived players. I agree, they really can alter gameplay. Also, since you are the mapmaker, you get to decide how you want gameplay to occur and thus make changes to alter said gameplay. That's the beauty of it all. You begin with your imagination, and then you get to test and revise.
I would hope they're intentional. :p However, never rule out the power of serendipity!

I would like to see these around a flag on CTF or something like that. Maybe put them on a race map. I would like to see people getting angry, then.
