    SUMMARY:
This map was created by me when I got the FMGC and I was just messing with merging and geo-merging. As I was messing around, a map was already developing to create the intense, action-packed map it is today. By merging almost everything on the map and carefully placing the weapons and spawns it turned into my masterpiece. After approximately two weeks of testing and tweaking, it turned out to be a popular, fun map for small team games. (But it can be as big as 4v4) When the official map for the first round of the 2v2 map -Urban- I was amazed by the map makers idea for an "indoor" paradise, so I incorporated it into my map to set the boundaries of the map in a smooth, professional fashion. Also, I have gotten into more detail about weapon placement and spawn points to balance this map so it will be a BALANCED small map.

    FORGING 101:
    Ultimate Budget Glitch-[YES]
Merging Movable Objects With Map Geometry-[YES]
    Interlocking Objects-[YES]

    THE MAP:
Hot Spot is designed around a central square and an oval outside (not counting the side cages). It has two main bases with some other small defensive corners in the middle. The main bases are essentially a small corner at each end of the map with a small fortification and some fortifications nearby to discourage camping. In the center there are two main entrances to the ground floor hallway. Near these entrances are rectangles near each to make it even more tricky. The rectangles have holes in the roof to discourage camping there too.In the main hallway there is a central brute shot, and a couple other weapons on the far ends of the hallway. At each end is a diamond like corner connected to the hallway long enough for some close range sniping and more intense fighting. Also, there are small boxes (which are pretty hard to get into) that can give you the upper hand in suprise, but on the other side are fence walls s you can be shot at from the outside to discourage camping. On the outside are four stairs on the sides for easy access to the second floor. On this floor, right above the diamond shaped ends are cages on each side to help the feel of two-sided fighting and also be able to be shoot below at the corridors or be shot from them (to discourage even more camping). The top floor is basically a cross with barriers and a roof to have some slight cover and a central mauler. Also, on this floor, you can jump below into the rectangles that lead to the hallway by 4 small squares. So, all in all, Hot Spot has: lots of cover, no camping spots, many different angels, many different characteristics, and most importantly, lots of fun!

    THE GAMETYPES:

Hot Spot has the setup to not require super special gametypes, but it needs its tweaks to make it better. I personally felt that Infection and Juggernaut were not really, "good" for this map, so I put in all the others.
*ALL HAVE NO RADAR AND FASTER RESPAWNS*
    • Slayer- No real changes
    • Team Slayer- No real changes
    • Oddball- Ball spawns at mauler
    • Team Oddball- Same as oddball
    • Crazy King- Focused on the hallways, also the cages and the mauler location
    • Multi Flag- Flags are verticle and jut out of the sides of the base
    • Bombing (Assault)- Bomb spawn & plant locations are in central of "bases"
    • VIP- All teammates have slight radar when within 10 meters of their VIP
    • Territories- 20 sec. capture, focused on the center

    Battle Rifle-4
    Sniper Rifle-1
    Plasma Pistol-2
    Needler-1
    Brute Shot-1
    Plasma Rifle-4

    Sub-Machine Gun-4

Looks good. May play good. Not the best. You can probably understand that though. It has some good features and interlocking, but I just can't say any more than that about it. Keep Forging!
