Horizontal shield doors?

Float objects horizontally by holding the object where you want it to float in monitor mode, the, without letting go of the object, save and quit.

And also... since shield doors are weighted towards object near it, you should float something where you want it to be and then "attach" the shield door to the side to make it easier to float horizontally...

 

I hate the weightedness of it. Makes it so hard to put it sideways slightly.
