Yea so I'm in the middle of constructing a linear infection map and when I drew up my diagram the resource count and the oln matched up but I completely let budget restrictions fly over my head. I forgot to build the map on a budget glitched map and I am facing the fact that I might run out of money. So as I said, I'm pretty far in to forging this and I would like to know if there's a way to budget glitch the map without deleting everything I've done so far. Foresight saw this map being done with no problem but early hindsight predicts it might be a bit more problematic. EDIT: Here's a sketch of where I want this to go: You can't see the legend but green lines are where zombies can go only, black lines with arrows are where humans go and the blue is all parts of the map. It has to have walls at the end and idealy a cieling for every room, not to mention halls and ducts that allow zombies to drop in on human positions.
I don't think you'll have problems.. I mean you still have $1000 just for 4 rooms and a roof. Shouldn't be that hard. Otherwise, I think it's a bit too late for budget glitching.
The only way you'll be able to budget glitch the map is if you have a reasonable amount of money still,(1000 bucks is more than enough) the more money the better. It may take a while bt it's still possible. Just keep putting the RTMax as high as it will go on each object until you run out of money. Then save and quit, rinse and repeat.
Actually you just need to raise all the run-time maximums for each of the objects by 1. As long as the run-time maximum for an object is higher than the number placed on the map then it's budget glitched. Good Luck!
see I went and looked at the budget glitching tutorial. It said that you could budget glitch while you were building but it really wasn't clear on how. I still might be able to successfully make finish it within budget restrictions but I'd like to make it a little aesthetically appealing as well I put a picture of my diagram in the first post just to give a bit of an idea as to what I want to do with this
no matter what you do, DONT overwrite your previous map. when working with budget glitch, always be very careful that everything works everytime you save. remember- ALWAYS keep the un-glitched version.
