I believe my first post on forge hub should be a necessary introductory of myself with a brief description of my past work with forge and why I'm anxious to help and have discussion among other forgers in this interesting community. Recently I have been interested in how far this community has come since the first mention on BNet News. However, I have always skimmed through ForgeHub here and there reading through articles and scoping out some Forgers who know what they are talking about, for quite a while too, seeing as some of my friends of xbox live lurk and occasionally post and discuss good maps in this community. I've seen what awesome maps have emerged here - nice creative and sometimes gameplay focused maps for competitive halo 3 - sometimes both. I'm probably most known at the MLGpro forums as my XBL and user name handle "Fritzster". I'm an experienced Forger that is capable of helping other passionate Gamers like me who have discovered Halo 3's forge possibilities. My work old and recent stretches from my first complete gameplay focused map from December's MLG's Forge the Foundry Contest "Cataphract" to my first FFA map "Desperation" to my completion of "Safeguard" concept map. My work with Safeguard would turn into my flagship map that I am most proud of and has come a very long way - most know it as MLG Amplified in the official MLG v5 launch and talked about in MLG's blog Co-Founder Podcast. Love to help my good friends with their forge projects such as the well known Lockdown, Hangout, Mecro and many other maps that are produced in the MLGpro community. Hopefully I can extend the good conversations and knowledge with other Gamers with similar interests in these well managed Forums. This is a bit awkward for me, but definitely shouldn't be. My "short" introduction might be a bit too much if someone might know what I mean, but still... I am looking forward to meeting some awesome Gamers - now that some of you know who I am in the particular subject of Halo 3 Forge.
Welcome Fritzster! Glad you decided to make yourself more know around these parts. I'm definitely aware of your work, and its Forge Hub's pleasure to have ya around. Nice intro, too. Lookin forward to sharing our forging knowledge with each other, and I hope you can feel at home here. I've been wondering when some of the MLG guys were going to start stopping by. A hardy welcome aboard from me as well. Cataphract was a big inspiration for me in the creation of an early map of mine. I silently troll the MLG Forge forums and am well aware of the excellent contributions you've made. A lot of the maps made here focus on more of the 'casually competitive' games than I know you MLG guys are used to, so I hope that doesn't scare you away, lol. But there are some really excellent forgers here, and most of us are ready and willing to help out with anything you'd need.
