Hemorrhage Classic - Now with more Rockets! Recommended Players: 8-16 Recommended Gametypes: Capture the Flag, Team Slayer, Neutral Assault, One Flag/Bomb Welcome to the new old Hemorrhage! I like BTB, but a lot of the maps leave something to be desired. So taking Bungie's own advice from the Halo 3 Vidocs, I decided to go and make a better version of Hemorrhage in Forge. Starting from scratch, I took cues from both Blood Gulch and Coagulation as to some things that needed changing. And with a little artistic interpretation here and there for my own sake, I think the version I've come up with plays a lot better. Now, being Hemorrhage/BG/Coag, there wasn't a whole lot to change. However, the most significant changes are in two places; the Rock Outcrop, and the Teleporter locations. I moved the Teleporters back into better cover, and much closer to their CE/H2 locations. The Rock Outcropping also was completely re-done, being made much closer to its H2 counterpart. The third major change is for Killzones. While Jetpacks are still perfectly viable AAs, you'll find that many of the Jetpack/Sniper griefers from Hemorrhage will now have their wings clipped fairly quickly on this new version. For the vital map stats, we have: DMRs - 30 sec respawns Needle Rifles - 30 sec respawns Needler x2 - 30 second respawn Sniper Rifle x2 - 120 second respawn, 1 Extra Magazine Shotgun x2 - 90 second respawn, 1 Extra Magazine Grenade Launcher x2 - 90 second respawn, 5 Extra Grenades Rocket Launcher x1 -150 second respawn, 1 Extra Magazine Concussion Rifle x2 - 45 second respawn, 2 Extra Magazines Warthog x2 - 60 second respawn Ghost x2 - 60 second respawn Mongoose x4 - 30 second respawn Wraith x2 - 180 second respawn Hemorrhage Rocks Re-done Apparently Banshees aren't the only air vehicles Thanks to the Forgehub group for the playtest.
I always enjoy seeing maps turned classic. I really don't see that much of a difference from the old Hemorrhage, but I do see some significant changes, which are great. The only thing I'm not too fond of is how you kept the Wraiths in. Classic Hemorrhage didn't have Wraiths; or even tanks, for that matter. Good job anyways. I wouldn't classify this as 're-done', but rather as 'tweaked'.
Classic Hemorrhage had Banshee's too, and Coag had Scorpions for BTB. I left both of those out due to power; I left the Wraiths in because they add a bit more valor and fun to the map, since even with their 60 second respawns the Warthogs and Ghosts are still very squishy vehicles.
