Ok, so, remember in Halo 3 where you'd be in a puzzle map and you'd have to blow up a grav lift for another to spawn so you can move onto the next challenge? I wanna do something similar to that it Reach but for a competitive map. I want to have 3 plasma batteries (2 spawn at start) and once you blow up one of the 2 that are already there, the other one spawns. Then if you blow up another, the one that wasn't there respawns and so on. Basically there has to always be 2 plasma batteries on the map, no more, no less and I just want to know how or if you can do this in Reach. Thanks. ALso this system is needed for a supercomplex superexperimental idea which I will explain in a Map Preview later if I can make it work. So yeah, help please.
This hurts my brain. Not sure if this is possible. You can either have a plasma battery thats at spawns at start or doesn't, and it can either respawn or not respawn, I'm sure you know this. I don't think the advanced settings make this possible, so I think it could only work with some kind of elaborate, expensive explosive system with one of the weird insane gametypes. Kind of reminds me of... Relic... I think it was Relic. It had a 1 way teleporter system that had to be "opened" on the receiving end. It was blocked off with explosives until someone either sacrificed their life to blow up the explosives on the receiving end or someone had to push waaay up and blow it up themselves. It was a pretty nifty aspect for 1 flag.
Set run-time min to 2. That should work but next time you're on, invite me and I'll fiddle around with it.
