I am having a hard time learning how to make the intro and team cinematics work properly. That way I can finish up my Grifball map and I can playtest it. Can I have some guidance with this?
EDIT: (These videos may make the rest of my comment obsolete) If you want to use a camera for an intro you must change static/intro/outro to "intro" There's a number which sets the order of these cameras in a sequence. 1 First 2 Second 3 Third Etc. There is 13 seconds in the intro, so you need to determine how long certain cameras will be active. The cameras switch to the next one after the time on the camera is completed If I want to show two power weapons for five seconds and then the players for three seconds for a total of 13 sec. (5+5+3=13) here's how I'd do it: Camera on weapon 1: Intro Time:5.00 Order:1 Camera on weapon 2: Intro Time:5.00 Order:2 Camera on players: Intro Time:3.00 Order:3 To have the players appear in the last shot, you need to place a animation location object and set it to whatever team you want (you probably want to place two: a red one and a blue one, so both teams will see themselves) then set it to "intro" and set the order to (in my example) "3" so it matches the camera you want to see them from. I believe you can have different shots for either team so that they're in their respective bases, but I don't know for sure how to do that (you might just have to set the cameras to red/blue). I also remember seeing someone say you should have a neutral animation location for theater or something but I'm not sure what exactly was said. You might want to add a little extra time on to the last camera so that it fills up the intro time completely for sure so you don't have a pause between the end of the intro and the game start.
