Hey, guys. I sortta struggled in deciding where to put this thread. I considered Off-Topic, but I realized that I wouldn't actually get any help over there, lulz. What I Need:::: Recently, my laptop crashed. I've been having to use our family's business computer, but it's just not the same. I've figured out that I want something that I can browse the internet with from anywhere. I've used one of the new iPod Touch's, but my fingers are too big for the touch-screen keyboard. Anything with actual keys would be great, but I can't find anything like that. My BlackBerry just doesn't give me the speed I want. I'm at a loss, really. So, anyone wanna tell me what I should get or where I can look????
Lately, I've been looking at the MSI Wind laptop. It's a UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC). It has a 10" screen and weighs only about 2.3 pounds, at the price tag of about $550, good for people who have low budgets. It's not too useful as a gaming or media computer, but if all you need is to surf the internet and stuff, I'd heartily suggest that. Oh right, link. http://www.msimobile.com/nblist.aspx?series=White
If you're looking for something portable and easy to go (say something like a iPod touch?) then I would recommend a Sidekick or Sidekick LX. Really quite handy, phones are cheap as well. Service? Improved, and it's much better than it used to be. Depending on where you live however. But overall, you sound like you're in the need for a Sidekick. Laptop wise? A mac. Any macbook.
PSP works but not with forums or sites that have large flash files or pictures. But it can still do things.
If your filthy rich, then get a blackberry, with a laser keyboard. Key board pretty much works with anything with a usb port though. So if you have a phone or something then use that.
I have a BlackBerry right now. It doesn't load any kind of Flash. It runs slow as hell when it does choose to load a page. The keyboard isn't my issue. Anything with a keypad (like the BlackBerry) would suffice. I just can't use the iTouch's keyboard because it's touch activated, and my fingers are too big, ha.
