I was forging and placing lights in a map recently that was close to complete. I was experimenting with two lights (which as you know is the maximum allowed). Like a n00b, I merged them both into some rocks that are part of Forge World and released them, not realizing that I wouldn't be able to grab them again once they were inside the geometry of the rocks. Now I cannot delete them or move them. I can't place a new one and say "delete all" because I am at the object limit. So the million dollar question is how do I get rid of or move these lights again? Are they just stuck where they are now?
I had the same problem once. If you merge the lights into natural geometry and they don't dissapear, you should be able to grab them again at one, tiny spot. Good luck, it took me several hours to grab one of them. Is the map worth so much desperate work to "find" your lights?
I think I'll survive with the lights where they are lol, I just wanted to put it out there to see if the Forge Hub community had a suggestion for me. I appreciate the input and I am now a bit wiser. It seems like every map I forge I learn a little something more.
Use a grid to push yourself underground. It'll take quite a bit of trial and error, but you should have a bit more luck than LD's method.
